The Dark Horizon
Keepers of the Ways
Seat of Power: Talwing
Originally the holders of Talwing who specialized in trade, Lemavanya has ascended to a position of power through influence. Much of the influence of House Lemavanya was garnered through repeated hosting of Qualomenta agreements between the great houses. This position of Arbitrator beneath the Queen has helped propel the once weak house of Lemavanya into the respect and therefore company of the great houses. The Lemavanya House is also well respected for having the greatest fleet of ships, both in number and in quality. Along with the rangers, the Lemavanyas are also friendly with outsiders.
- Hara Lemavanya
- The Matriarch of the Lemavanya House is brutally efficient and serious about all things. She is respected by all houses with her abilities to accomplish tasks with alacrity and deftness. She has raised her house to a level of respect and influence that was never before achieved by her forebears. She continues to run the House with near perfection. She is known to be quick-witted, prideful and does not allow any slight to the Lemevanya House to go unpunished. Her aggression after the loss of her son nearly cost Bereliandorian its four century peace.
- Crugarn Tormali
- The husband of Hara, he is fiercely loyal and incredibly loving and prideful of both his new and old house. His gratitude to the Lemavanya Family for accepting him in and taking care of House Tormali is boundless and he works tirelessly to run the Lemavanya trade network and Shipyards. He was emotionally ruined when his son vanished, but managed to recover by throwing himself completely into his work. He travels constantly between Talwing and Bereliand to manage the business and to see his wife and remaining son.
- Ventis Lemavanya
- The living heir of House Lemavanya, Ventis is an accomplished swordsman and dutiful son. Known to always do whatever is needed of him, he is also known to enjoy (and throw) parties whenever his busy schedule allows him. He is very loyal to his fiancee, Amara, and is willing to do anything she asks of him. Like his father, he was devastated when Taliesin vanished. Not one for music or the arts, he wrote a song for his brother and sings it once a year on his brother’s nameday in the gardens of House Lemavanya.
- Taliesin the Lost
- Vanishing without a trace during the festival of creation, foul play was feared and a scandal broke out between the highest houses in the elven lands. With his soul never appearing at the Lake of Spirits, it was assumed that he was still alive somewhere, but all attempts to find him failed. His disappearance has cause wild speculation over his fate, ranging from having his soul devoured by the Lord of the NIghtplains, that he had a secret hatred for all elves and refuses the call to the Lake, being captured and held prisoner to this very day in the deepest depths of Qualmeriel or that he was abducted and enslaved by hobgoblins across the sea. Crisis and inter-house conflict due to his disappearace was averted with the betrothal of Amara Lirimaerae to Ventis Lemavanya.
